    Going for Mustang buckets today.
    Free too!
I am getting 3 seats for nothing but none of them match...I'll live. Beggars can't be choosers.

They are in and they look great. They are both passenger seats...but I will survive. One red and one dark blue. One cloth back, one vinyl back. I actually got three seats and used parts from all three plus the bench to get it to work. Ill recover them soon enough.
I used the tracks from the bench seat on the outside and the Mustang tracks on the inside. I got it all to work fine and it's great. They track fine and adjust properly.
I noticed that they are a little cock-eyed so I will need to shim the outer tracks a little.

Did I mention I love them?
    Well I do.

    COOL!!!
Far as I'm concerned, that's what's important here......loving your car, improving/modding your car, and sharing whatever you do to it with others!
Congrats on the seats, Paint! :Handshake

You know I'm not sure. Fox body for sure.
The tracks on all three were different. One had a wire control to make the sides work together, one was springloaded and one was a mix of the two with a small wire and a spring on both sides. I used the tracks from the Comets bench and rigged the Mustang tracks to work with them. I used a small chain with S-hooks to connect them together so they tracked and locked properly. It took about 2 hours in the 100o NC heat and the help of my 9 year old daughter(couldn't have done it without her help!).
    She got the first ride.

An open 5 gallon bucket would be more comfortable than that benchseat was.

    I'm actually a little lower.
My bench was very tiring to sit on for long periods of time. The angle it rested at was awful. I always wanted buckets in my Comet and now I got them. Since the tracks are already there all I need is a drivers seat to be perfect but they are very good enough for now.
I'm looking for seat skins now.(not covers)
