Check this out http://www.fatmat.com/fatmat/bulk/50%20sq%20ft%20fatmat%20extreme.htmBe afraid Dynamatcheap... cheap....cheap
I havent used it yet but they say 100% guarantee it or your money backhttp://www.fatmat.com/dynamat/index.htm i guess its worth a try? i am going to buy it but i wont be able to tell how it works until my project gets on the road next year
It works but is asphalt based, like original dynamat. If you live anywhere that it gets really hot, it will fall off eventualy. I use a product called damplifier, which is butyl based. Here's a link www.secondskinaudio.com
100% Guaranteed? so if it's all stuck to your car do you have to scrape it up and send it back? I'll stick with Dynamat, something like that isn't what you you should cheap out on.
wasnt there a discussion a little while back about someone ordering fatmat and not able to contact the co. afterwards?...cant recall which forum? anybody else recall this?
I bought summit brand and have installed it on the new car. I like it better than dynomat becuase it is black and not that gay chrome
Well i guess that made up my mind wont use this product thanks for the heads up thats why i love this fourm
I also ordered from Fatmat and could not contact the company for a very, very long time. I did finally get a response, I don't remember what was said, but I'm sure I shouldn't repeat it on this forum. I did eventually receive the product, but my car is not on the road yet so I can't comment on the quality or effectiveness. Even if it turns out that the quality is superior for the price, the customer service of the company is among the worst I have ever dealt with.
I always worry that if I put down any of these mats then I won't be able to get to the metal should I need to do repairs later. Otherwise I would have installed it.
