I picked Mavericks but Comets do have better Tail lights, makes the rear end look more finished looking.

Yeah...that's it. I'd like a '71-'72 Grabber front end with a Comet GT backend and spoiler. I think that would be a wicked lookin' street rod.

I"ve always like the looks of the Comet over the Maverick. Back in 72 when I was buying my Sprint, I really wanted a Comet instead. But it was $300 more. Dont sound like much now but back in 72 that was 4 weeks worth of bring home pay. Besides, when I saw the Sprint colors, I really liked that.

Considering that there were 5 Mavericks made for every Comet produced, the Comets are winning. ;)

*multiply the Comet percentage by 5 and we are clearly at 150% currently.

I think with both in small bumper form, it is a toss up.
But both in big bumper, I like the maverick.

Kinda like Neil Young's music...it is very good, but I just never acquired a taste for his voice...

I never acquired a taste for the comet hood/bumper/grill bump.

But, I bought Neil Young's classic album Harvest today, and if I found a classic Comet for a decent price, I wouldn't pass it up, either:huh:

Comets are clearly the better looking of the two.
Just look at the tail lights!

the only reason i dont like comets is beacuse of how the front of the hood is contoured to the grille.

Thats not to say i would drive the crap out of one
