I have estimated mine at 2700 after I dropped some bumpers, and other useless items.

Overall, they are pretty light cars...

    75 2 door?

    What engine, trans, options?

Sounds about right to me, I am just curious if it has V8 and what options.

I think the bumpers are worth about 140# extra over the small bumpers.
Seems like it should be more...
However that is 14 rwhp in theory!

i can literally "feel" lighter driving down the road on small bumpers. im sure i gained at least an inch of ride hight and its a hell of a lot easier to unhook the back tire

These cars aren't heavy, but they're not light either. The weight you posted is about right.

Mine is 2520...but it's GUTTED. With me in it, it's 2700. And I thought mine was heavy (and it is...for a race car)

I noticed that after I took my bumpers off too! The car seems like it rides just a little stiffer and it looked like it raised the ride height a bit.

Yea,it's a 200.I'm not sure if I'll 4spd it,I get a kick out of the column shift:D.And it's the first old car I've had in a long time that the wife likes driving(she hadn't driven a tree-on-the-tree in probably 14 years, she picked it back up pretty quick:drive:)

The reinforcements inside the doors on the 73 and up models weigh about 20 pounds per side.

I thought the doors got beams in 72...

I always get that one mixed up.
One reason is that they got reinforced on a year that the bumpers weren't changed.
That would make it 72 or 75...

I believe the bumpers with the brackets weigh 75 lbs. I had to cut a ring off my coil springs cause it made the front end too high.
