That Friday night,, I felt like an ass,, Some girl played me but good,, Serious Ego issue going on. I replaced the upper and lower controll arms and shocks along with the rubber bumpers above my upper controll arms,, After rebuilding the front end and getting it close for the alignment in the morning I took her out for a spin. My girl was back up and tighter then ever. After picking up the car from getting an alignment,, she got a bath and wax,, and detailed in and out. I went home took a shower and made plans to met the boys for a few games of pool. It was around 9:30 pm Saturday night I drove up to the bar, Low and behold her was that same girl and that bumper sticker,,, (No _ _ _ _ ! ) I pulled up next to her and looked down the road (I knew well) no tricks this time I thought. we made eye contact at the same time,,, I yelled over to her: Well is that a true statement or alot of BS,,????? She yelled back: If your Man enough to beat me,,, Im woman Enough to deliver!!!!!. I gave her a nod and yelled back: On Green Princess!!!!! I watched that light like a hawk,, and on green I dumped that throttle and moved out,, I was in the lead that fast but this wasnt gonna be just that simple thow I wanted over kill,,, I hit the Gas bottle for a little extra boost and dusted her cookies,,, I figured she would turn off with her tail between her legs and make a run for it.... But she pulled up and said: You win,,,, wanna take your car or mine,,? I said mine,, !! she said Follow me,,, gotta drop this off. I took her to Cedar Point and stayed at the Hotel breakers for the rest of the weekendand into the middle of the week. We hit the park and had a blast great gal,, ... I told her I had to get back and pay the piper for the Flying with out a license bit,,, she laughed and sayed ok,, Mind if I go with you,,??? I said not at all Some one has to drive my car home,,, I might be locked up for all that fun,,,!!! She laughed and said: be positive,,, ya never know,,!!! Where I had to go to court was the worst place in Ohio,, They nail you real hard for so much as a License plate bulb,,,, So I wasnt looking forward to it at all,,,.... Her and I walked in and sat down in court,, My last name begins with (B) so I usually get called quick. Not this time,, I was the last to be seen,, The stack of papers in that file looked like the yellow pages,, I was sweating big time,, I was called by the Judge to the bench,, to my suprise she walked up with me. I was sweating bullets,, The judge looked at her and said: Are you having fun on break hun??? she replied Oh yes Daddy,, Joey took me to Cedar point for the weekend,, and he was a perfect Gentalman,,(do you buy that) He looked at me,,, and paused as he read thru the forest of papers,, I was still shaking in my shoes,, He looked up at me and sayed Joe could you please get that headlight fixed,,? I looked up and sayed ((((OH yes Sir)))),,, He said ok then,,, Fine $25 and court cost $65 ,,,, you can pay the cashier on your way out..!! I said Thank you Sir.. and started walking away,,, when He said: One minute Joe,,!!! very stirn like,, I turned and said ((Yes SIR)) ? he asked: Your are coming to dinner Tomarrow with my daughter,,, around 7 pm..?? I was like ::: (( Yes Sir ))(((Absolutely))) See you then he said. we walked out got in my car,,, I waited for my heart to catch up,, it was still in that court room sleeping I think. Yes this is a true story... and as far as the Bumper sticker...??? A true woman of her words.. The car she drove: Porsche 911 And yes we are still very good friends. The Moral of the story: American Muscle rules
Cool story back yrs ago we had a girl in town with a buick grand nat, that ran really good, that had the same sticker on the rear bumper. Never did try to find out any more on it though
