    without Comet now just keeping in touch
    Only 2 ...wait soon to be 3... one 1976 gas tank, from a 4 door mav that tank was literally like brand new, still shiney.. $75 bucks cheap! And now I am getting a restored aircleaner from??? well it is a mav or comet ..

    Good question!!!

    I think I have parts from only 13 (including the original car). That includes small items like a piece of chrome trim, bobcat taillights, 2 bumpers, grill emblem, etc.

    I have never put anything from another Mav into my Comet...that I am aware of. I do have Escort GT seats, so I personaly have two...and a alot of aftermarket stuff :yup:
    :hmmm: Hmmm...I did buy a gas tank from fordmaster, it may have been out of a Mav come to think of it.
    Guess them makes/models DO get mixed quite often...

    I like the GM rear disc better than the Fords because the e-brake is built into the caliper rather than having a mini-drum brake set-up inside the top hat. Less moving parts and lighter weight.
