Just a reminder that the Silver Springs show sponsored by NPD in Ocala is around the corner. The forms were mailed out last week and the first 1000 get free admission to the park. If it is anything like last year, the first 1000 were filled by the end of October.

This is the largest All Ford show in the South and I know quite a few members here attend. Last year there was great showing of Mavericks there.

I took mine over to NPD last week for 2 of my cars and my son's Mach 1. See you there!

    Anybody coming?

    Jim

Now you have me thinkin' ....

If the Comet isn't ready, they have a Mustang class ...

Maybe I should shine this up ...

I know ... taking a 2007 car and showing isn't anyting like taking a 30 year old car to a show, but the wife's driver sure is pretty, and it really is challenging my detailing skills.

Bring it on, Jeff. It will fit right in. The Comet would definitely attract attention, since very few of them are ever there.

I will be bringing my black '69 XR7 htp Cougar and my '73 Gold Glow Mustang conv, probably on alternating days of Sat & Sun. Last year, the Cougar won the "Best Preserved Ford" award.

On Friday morning, they have a Pony Trails which starts at 9 am from the NPD headquarters. I will probably take my white '69 Cougar conv. on it. It goes over to the Gulf coast town of Cedar Key and back. Usually around 125-150 cars attend that event.

Too bad you are not coming this year, Dennis. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing your car last year.

I'm gonna try to be there. I've got alot going on in Jan/Feb. I'm sending my registration in anyway. Thats one show that my wife and children love to go with me.

BTW Jim. Thanks again for inviting Jason and me to the Mustang Club Show. We had a great time.

Sent mine in last week and my son sent his in Friday for his newly acquired 03 Mach 1. At least 3 other Fords are going from here, 07 Shelby, 66 Coupe, and a 72 stang convertible.

Anybody doing the Pony Trail at NPD on the Friday before the show??
