Good one! That's nothing, I met a guy the other day talking about a '59 mustang. I sure do wish he had had his picture with him...................... Country
A woman saw my Maverick and was talking about her old 67 Maverick. I sure would like to see it. The funny thing is that she knew what she was talking about, except for the year thing. -Corbin
My aunt said that she once had a 1980 maverick . I saw that on evilbay last night couldn`t help but to laugh
I find alot of older people (I know that doesn't sound right... ) Get the years mixed up like that often. The 80 Maverick was likely a 70 and the 67 was likely a 77. I hear it all the time too.
My husband gets the years of cars mixed up all the time. He knows what he means, it's just everyone else gets a funny look on thier faces. He's called my 77' Maverick an 88' so many times I've lost count.
I talk to a lot of people who get their years mixed up too. The other thing i have run across (and really bug me) are the people who tell me that their maverick came stock with a boss 302. I've heard at least 5 people say that, so usually i just nod my head.
Yep Or a 289. So many people talk about a 289 mav. that it makes me wonder if a few had them. I dunno..........Country
My 77 does have a factory 289 in it. The 289 came from "the" factory and my mav came from "the" factory, just 10 years apart. So it just depends on how you look at things.
