door hinge bushing grrr

I just rebuilt my door hinges, and the busings are spinning with the pins off and on...i lubed the pin ...so what the heck??? anyone ever have this problem

 

sounds like the holes where the bushings go are to big.or the od on the bushings are too small.

 

Did you buy stock bushings? I had to drill mine out and go with over size bushings & pins. My holes were egg shaped and would have done the same thing.

 

nah i used all stock componets!

 

I just get hinges off the passenger side of a junk car and use them. Never had to rebuild them.

your hinges are wallored out as noted above. the only real fix is to redrill the holes and order oversized bushings. I think you can even get them with the standadr is diameter.
