    How you do that with a 6? And why does your detail thingy at the left say 302/AOD?

    The 302/AOD drivetrain is going in the Comet, the Maverick is a 200/C4.

    Simple formula; minimum weight, nasty cam lobe ramp profile, lots of gear and converter.:yup:

    Your posted 1/8th ET looks pretty close to mine, but your 60-foot blows mine out of the water. So you are taking off fast but not keeping the momentum all the way down the track?

    Not trying to sound like I am putting your car down. I am VERY impressed that you are squeezing that out of the I6...

    The power curve is extremely flat; the car leaves at 4000rpm and is all done at 5600. It uses everything up very quickly. The rules restrict the cam to stock lift and no porting or polishing is allowed. I think the car will go under 2.00 60ft next year with the Strange disc brakes and some more suspension tuning. Something to dream about on those long winter nights.
