Geeze man... my mom was driving my dad's Comet around with basically no exhaust, manual drums and a 350+ horse 302 under the hood (or lack there of actually) when she was 8 months pregnant with me, because it was the only car she had to get around town while my dad was at work during the day. She accidentally chirped the tires taking off from a red light one day, and sure enough there was a cop behind her, who pulled her over. The car had tinted windows, so you couldn't really see who was in it. She said the look on that cops face was priceless when she rolled the window down, and here she is 8 months pregnant, driving around in this hotrod, and my brother who was not quite 2 years old was in a car seat in the passenger seat. That's probably about the last thing that cop expected when he pulled that car over. :rofl2: http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=23697&d=1194049827

Hi Sabrina! I"m one of the ladies who visits this board on a daily basis. Sorry to hear you did'nt get the Stallion you had your eye on. My husband and I used to have a Stallion that we restored, but we sold it to a fine gentleman from Texas who also visits the board from time to time. My husband Dale have a small shop were we restore older cars and trucks for a living, and a good many of those cars have been Mavericks.:)

    Hi Sabrina,
Mrs 71 gold here. My husband is 71 gold. Yes I am a Kasey Kahne fan as Miss Maverick pointed out. Thanks Andrea but let's not forget that you are a Kasey Kahne fan also....by the way, I wanted to tell you, Frank and I went to the Atlanta Motor Speedway last weekend, (no racing just shopping). I went to the Kasey Kahne trailer and they had some really good buys. I bought a red & white Sponsor jacket for.....got a guess? Your not going to beleive this.....$30.00:bananaman. Then, Frank and I had to go to Summit today so we came back by the AMS again and went shopping at the speedway gift shop. They had the exact same jacket in there for $119.00. Now did I get a good buy or what?

Hi Sabrina! Yep, another lady here itching to get her Mav back on the road since having been rear-ended back in July. Good news! She's back home from the shop, looking great and just waiting to be inspected. Will be driving her again this coming Wednesday! Woo hoo!!!

Yeah, that car sure has been through some experiences for sure! I can't even begin to explain how good it felt to sit in her when we got her back Friday night -- like a long lost friend returned.
