    72 Mav Grabber (Brown)
    Hello,

Just joined this forum and have a question. For the past 3 years I have been restoring a 72 Grabber back to stock from the ground up. The car came from the factory with v8, floor shift auto and deluxe interior (high back buckets). No other options.

I added headers, converted to fornt wheel disc brakes from a 74 mav, and put on a set of Cragers. the rest is bone stock, however, i have replaced so many parts with NOS and repro this must be the newest maverick in existance.

If you are searching for parts or part sources I might be able to help. Everything form a complete set of decals for the 72 grabber (in any color combination you want), the hood decal is also available in any color you want. I have an upholstrey shop that found the original ford comfort weave material that my interior has been completly redone in. I also found the paper hose (tube) that connects the charcoal cannister to the air cleaner. If I can help let me know.

Now for my question. My grabber is Brown, I found there were 35,347 Maverick Grabbers produced in 1972. I want to know how many were ordered Brown from the factory? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for correcting me, Craig remember when I looked at your seats and said mine were different? I must have the Sebring Knit where you have the Comfort Weave..

Tried posting some pictures but how do you get around the 250k limit? My pics are 750k.

I am looking into the Marti report.

    thanks, tom

All this stuff has been discussed on this board many times. You should have joined earlier, we probably could have saved you some research time.
