    Hello all,
Do any of you have experience with running GT40P irons with stock Maverick exhaust manifolds? If so, how was it for sparkplug and sparkplug wire clearance? I know the performance would suffer, not a good combo, but I need to put an engine in one of my Mav's temporarly to get the engine out of the way and make the Maverick mobile until it is time to start working on it. Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you, Farmall in New Mexico.

I think the stock manifolds will not pose a problem with the P plugs. I never installed them that way, but held them up before I installed the heads, and it didn't look like too much of an issue.

    I don't remember too clearly...that was 3 or 4 years ago.

    Thank you Scooper

Thank you for your reply, unless I get more input, I guess I will give it a try. Thank you for your Della-mobile chronical, it has been EXTREMELY helpful with my recent Maverick obsession. You really do a great job with it, thanks for your contribution.
Hope you had a great holiday.
    Sincerely, Farmall

    Thanks for the kudos!

That site originally started as a personal "diary" just to keep track of repairs, upgrades, and costs. I have since gotten no less than 30 emails and private messages from people that said the same thing you have about the site.

I am happy that it has been helpful for people to learn from my mistakes:cool:
