Ok guys, it's been forever!! I dropped the car off april 2006, and set at least a year timeline. it's been a year and a half, but I'm stalling a lot while I come up with more cash. At long last it's been completely painted, minus the doors/hood etc.

For those of you new to this...I dropped it off in all original beat to crap ready for the junk yard condition. Rust in the rear corners of the quarter that went all the way through, and more ripples and dings than ruffles chips. Interior all torn to hell, and engine barely running on 6 of 8 cylinder. My mother and I plunked down a large sum of cash, and the resto began!!

the next step is for me to entirely strip off all of the suspension. Stangwerks is then going to put the mav on a rotisserie, clean off the entire bottom side, and rhino line it.

The engine is a gt40 headed late 5.0 roller motor mated to a c4 combo. Mild, but effective, and plenty to grow with.

here it is when I dropped her off..

    now for the good stuff...

oh yea, it's a 2 stage base coat clear coat paint...and it has NOT been cut and buffed yet...this is straight out of paint. It'll look even a billion times better after they cut and buff it.

That's awesome Jeremy...can't wait to see it in person! I was wondering what happened with your Maverick.

If I ever get my 71 Grabber ready, I'm gonna get an estimate from the shop that did yours.

That blue is great, is it Grabber Blue?

yes, it's the original grabber blue.

I'm real excited too how it's coming along, I'm so glad I picked the right place to spend a ton of cash.

Looking good, and good to hear from you, Jeremy. I was starting to wonder what had happened to you and your project. Still doing a lot with the 5.0 Stangs?
