Really a sad way to thank the thousands of enthusiasts who kept his legend fresh over the years. I was a member from 1976 until the late 80's when I had a '68 GT500. The cars increased in value largely due to the exposure offered by the activities of the SAAC. MY first impression is that he is following Ford's lead. However, only one side of this story has been published. There are three sides to the story - the club's, Shelby's, and the truth. I will hold off writing a scathing letter until I hear all sides. I gotta tell ya. If this crap with Ford keeps up and Shelby is doing what the article said, I'm getting rid of my Ford stuff and switching to GM.
