    For the lanyards, the kind I like are the metal ones coated in thin clear plastic. We just buy them at swap meets. They protect the front of the hood from getting marred up over time. We use the mopar type kits on all of our cars, they have a little more base to them. You can them at swap meets or restoration stores.
