cougar tail lights

i bet there are repos out there that arent exactly concorce quality shelby parts but are alot cheaper

 

I wondered if those would work. I like them. The pinto lights on our cars give em a lame look. I mean it could be better.

Ok how bout trimming the fins off the bezels with a die grinder and cutting disc but leaving the outer ring to hold the lenses? Had a friend who did that on a 65 Mustang to give the tailights a different look. Was kind of neat when he was finished.

 

the grills are what holds the lense tho. not the outer ring

i thing im just gonna end up selling em for a set of headers to go with the 302

now that SOUNDS like the best option !

 

why dont you just shave down the grills so that they're shorter and dont stick out as far. then if you tail panel is black you could paint the grills to match...

do the rings just hold it to the tail panel or what?

i'd rather not invest on a whole new rear but i definatly like the look
