Hello, I'm new--I need help finding a part

    1971 Maverick 6 cylinder, 250 engine
    Hi everyone,

    I have a '71 Maverick with 250 engine, 6 cylinder. I need to get the wire or cable (its made of steel) that connects the gas pedal to the caburator, I'm not sure what's the name.

    Any suggestions,

    Does anybody know if a 70-73 spoiler will fit on a mav that has a 73 valance . i been having problems trying to get one to fit

    Try a salvage yard. I would think that most any old Ford cable would do the trick.

    I have a show quality fully polished 250 throttle cable I don't need ... I'll post pics when I get home from work to see if both ends match ... not sure what year it was out of.
