i think mavdog71 had a friend look at those. i was thinking of an aluminum radiator for my car, but a friend said the aluminum radiators don't cool as well on the street. :feedback:i'm interested in hearing from anyone running an aluminum rad. on the street.

Why wouldn't it work on the street? Most new cars & trucks come equipped with Aluminum radiators now days? Some with even a glass filled polypropylene (Plastic) side tanks.

if the pumps up to snuff, and the rad flows well, why not? and isnt it usually the garbage already in the block i.e. encroached water passages from years of neglect that hamper cooling to begin with? unless were talkin about a fresh block here.

I am using a Griffin 22X19. No probs, but like Wages said, I had to add an extra trans cooler.

Mine came without any mounting tabs, so this one having them is a PLUS. Saves a bunch of time and screwing around with brackets and screws that eventually wont work.

If it bolts right up, it is WELL worth the price.

Hey guys, Jimmy2Gates from the board here contacted the guy that is selling those radiators and discussed getting it built with two rows. This is a direct replacement bolt in and go. He may also make one fully polished. Look for a post from Jimmy2Gates in the very near future about this. :):):)

I've got one of those ebay radiators on the way. I'm going to be putting it in my car with a warmed over 302. I'll let you know how it works out.
