Hey folks... I've been checking this board out for some time. I just now decided to get involved and register. Seems like there is a pretty good core group here - and a broad background of other members. Cleaver (Like Beaver Cleaver from the old Leave it to Beaver show) is a nickname several friends have called me for years. It's just an abbreviated form of my last name. I've been messing around with a 71 Maverick at the local 1/8 mile test-n-tunes for about a year now. I dont spend a lot of money on the car and don't go very fast, but I have a ton of fun. My kids like it too. This is kind of my second Maverick. I sort of got one by marriage a few years back (my wifes). It ended up getting sold though -- long story I will not get into. Look forward to being here.
Cleaver; welcome to the board!!! You will find a group like no other, and being able to ask questions and converse will open up a wealth of information to you. Don't forget to join the MCCI. Lots of good stuff there too. Earl
Hey, we like long stories. We have no life and spend every spare minute on here clinging to the hope that somebody will post a new message soon! Well, I guess I do anyway. Welcome and keep the stories and pictures to a maximum.

Dennis, since I am out on leave for the holidays from the Henry Ford Clinic on Addiction, I feel capable of answering this. If you suspect you need help then you in reality, do. We, as your peers do not feel this way about you and feel that perhaps you are just in an advanced stage ahead of the rest of us. Sigmund (Dan ) Freud
umm. let's see....you helped me change a motor mount on my car at the dragstrip during the roundup. Then you let me win the race. I probably owe you. Check is in the mail
Jerry,, I hope I as well as the rest of us is never 'cured' of this little hobby, way of life, keeper of the sanity, keeps me out of the bars, addiction. Dan Happy New Year Friends!!!
