I really hope there is someone here, who knows where I can find a manual, so that my husband can put his maverisk together again, like it used to be, so that we can get it on the road again... I haven`t found so much here in Norway, so hopefully someone here can help us? I really appreciate it ;D Hpoe you understand my english, I`m trying my best, but I`m sure theres a lot of mistakes here ;D
Welcome to the board. There are usually some chilton's manuals on ebay. Also, there are some people on here that usually have them for sale. I'm sure they'll pop on here in a while.
Thank you ;D I`ll look at ebay right away..!! But hopes that if someone here on the forum, who might have anything, contacts me ;-) Appreciate that you answered me ;-)
Ok ;D But when you say "here on the board"... How do I find it here???! Search?? on manuals..?? Or anything else.. I`m not so used to look for things like this on internet you see...;-)
Look down on the main page of the board and find the parts wanted section. Post there that you are looking for a manual. Your English is not bad at all, I have no problem understanding you.
I`ll try to do that, right away ;D Thank you...!!! ;-) Good to know that it is a bit understandable, what I`m trying to say ;-)
i think Craig Selvey said he had a few left. i got a really nice one from him for $15 over the summer and if you have any questions feel free to post them here too. theres alot more knowlege here then there is in that book good luck
Re: Shop manuals I purchased brand new manuals (5 in the set) for my 70' Maverick "1970 FORD CAR SHOP MANUAL" Vol 1 Chassis Vol 2 Engine Vol 3 Electrical Vol 4 Body Vol 5 Pre-Delivery maintenance and Lubrication books4cars.com 4850 37th Avenue S. You can also use alldata diy, its an online service manual setup. I have one for every car I have. http://www.alldatadiy.com/ Hard copys are very helpful if you don't have a computer in your garage though.
Along with Chilton manuals, look for Haynes manuals too. Not as well-detailed as a Chiltons, but might be easier to find.
I bought a Haynes for Mustang II when I first got my car, and honestly, i use it more than I do the chilton that is written FOR the Maverick. Except for front suspension, most of the rest of the car is nearly identical. I just couldn't find the book for the Maverick early on (before I got on here) and the Mustang II book was all over the place. So I grabbed it! What part of Norway are you in? I have family in Trondheim (sp?) and we have a member in sweden that goes over there often. I have been sending him parts for his maverick when he gets a long shopping list of stuff he cannot find.
