Any body know how to interchange Motorcraft / Holley list numbers? I can't seem to find it in my Holley parts guide. LIST 50174 E4TE 9510-ARA
Carb came off of a 351W in a 4X4 pickup.

Thanks wages, but none of those went up to 84 [E4] I was wanting to know what the cfm rating was on mine, it looks just like a 4160 vacume secondary with the exception being the float bowls have extra vent tubes on them, smog stuff I suppose.

You can call the holly tech line. 1-502-782-2900 or 1-810-468-3673. If these don't work let me know i will get another number.

    It's not a 4160, but a 4180 Holley/Motorcraft carb. 600 cfm.

You might find more info by searching for 4180 or 4180C.

I believe these are 600 CFM as well, but they may have varied.

The Holley number on OEM carbs are different than the same carb that Holley sells to the public. You can't get the OEM carb from Holley. You have to get it from the OEM. Holley doesn't list it in their catalogs. I think it has something to do with sales contracts.

I knew I wasn't finding anything in the Holley stuff that I had for it. If it is a 600 or 625 cfm, it should be fine. I'm not crazy about the extra bowl vents, but I think with a little creativity with the hoses I can get the looking ok. It runs good, and has an electric choke, so I think I will keep it on the car awhile and see how it does. Thanks ya'll

I called the Holley Tech line 1-270-781-9741 and gave them the list # 50174 and they told me it was a 4180 600 cfm.

The part # for the manual chock is 0-1850c. The electric chock is 0-8457s.

1850C (std 600cfm Holley w/o Ford kickdown--"C" is for classic dichromate finish) is a list number. As is 80457S (Ford appplication 600 cfm w/kickdown linkage-- "S" is for the newer "shiny" finish)

The 1850 is a 4160 Holley 600 CFM vacuum secondary "aftermarket" exchange carb. It has been around long enough to have -1, -2, and -3 incarnations as well as every finish that Holley uses. The 4180 designation is new to me as I have been away from Holley work for some time now. How does it differ from the 4160?
