We'll be there both days and for the Friday NPD run. Looking foward to meeting as many of you that can make it! Hopefully, this recent cold spurt will be done and over with by then.

Just a heads up for the folks that are attending the show.

I have been informed from NPD that pre-registrations for this year's show have exceeded 1800 entries, a record. Our Mustang club plans to be at the registration area by 7am to make sure we get our designated area. Usually the Mavericks are grouped together, but only if enough get there to hold the spot.

    Frank,

You and Effie coming down? What day and where you stayin'?

I am heading down first thing Friday morning, about 5:30 am departure time and will be at NPD by 8:30 am for the Pony Trail to Cedar Key, the best part of the weekend in my opinion. We are staying at the Country Inn and Suites off of 200. And early on Saturday morning means in line about 7:00 am to 7:15 am.

    Richard

p.s. No, it does not take me 3 hours to drive there, but I am sure someone will have some pancakes ready to eat along the way! Ain't that right Frank?

    Frank,

The show isn't this weekend. It is next weekend, January 12th-13th. The Pony Trails is on Friday, the 11th.

Rick Schmidt, co-owner of NPD told me some time ago that they moved it to the second weekend of January because it was too close to the first of January and the holidays. The weather is, for some reason, usually better the second weekend, too.

    Frank,

Come on down! Stay as long as you want. We will inform the guard at the border to issue "Semi-Florida Boy" papers to you.

I just didn't want you to end up having a show of one this weekend.

Jim, do you know if this is a permanent move or for just this year?
