went to replace these bushings and now im really confused. the one on the left says (this side front) the one on the right says nothing. the old bushing in the front looks more like the one on the right.:hmmm: the old ones also had a sleeve that doesnt exactly fit inside the new ones. any help?

    thanks, daniel

i'm...confused...too... i got a set once that had one of each. (looked like a matching set to the pic.) it looks to me like they should have the
    ...cup to the bushing... :hmmm:

Just put it on like the instructions say. The concave part of the one on the right aims towards the rear of the car. I know it doesn't seem right looking at it, I was :hmmm: too when I saw it, but it does work. I have the same on the front of the '72. It actually seems to be an improved design over the original. Seems to help the strut rod move more freely, while still keeping the lower control arm where it needs to be.

Put that sleeve in the bushing. It keeps you from crushing the bushing when you torque the nut down.
