Corbin, no matter how many times you read it that is a VERY nice car, the only problem is, you will need a pin to deflate your head just to drive the car after reading all the posts!!!! Many congrads on a great job. Chandler:clap:

Thanks for all the compliments guys! It sure makes it worth the two and a half years of work. :) I'll try to get some engine shots soon, but I'll need to clean it up a bit. The funny thing about the paint is it looks black in certain lights, which I love, but it is actually British Racing Green. In light it looks dark green like it is, but in conditions like I took the pics, and other low light places, it looks black. Funny thing is my friends didn't believe me that it was green for a while because they only saw it in the early mornings. :) Again, thanks for the compliments. I'll be putting some new leaf springs on the rear (three leaf). The old ones are shot... Then when those are on, I can put on the addco sway bars I've had for over a year. Of course I would let Steve McQueen drive it in the Bullitt Maverick remake, but he has to promise not to beat it up..... :D

P.S. Here are some before and mid-way through pics of the car, for those who don't remember. It's had quite the transition...

Thanks guys! :) It's actually dark green, but you can't tell in the pic.

    LoxMan71:

The mirrors are like the sport mirror from the Grabbers, but the bases are a little different. There are no exposed screws and it has a more streamline look. They are sport mirrors from a Torino/Ranchero.

hey Corbin, how do you like those tri-bar headlights? Do they make your lights brighter?

    keep up the good work!

Thanks! I LOVE the tri bars. The light output is far greater than the regular sealed beams. They also look cool. Those and the headlight relays I did really made the difference between reluctance to drive at night (lots of deer here :( ), and happiness while driving at night. :) I don't know exactly how much brighter they make the lights without the relays because I did them at the same time, but I know a guy with a 66 Mustang and the same lights and they made them brighter without the relays. GS Johnson on the board here also did the Tri-Bar swap and no relays and he says they are brighter than stock as well. If you can, do the relays as well. (y)

Awesome Corbin...I like everything about it...How bout an Engine pic:D
I'm familiar with the "herds" of deer your talking about from when I lived in Petaluma.
There are devices that can be mounted on the front of the car that emit a high pitch noise only audible to animals that supposedly work well .
There easily hidden and work off the air passing thru them and are pretty cheap too.

What type of relays did you use Corbin? If you made them, how'd ya do it? :)
