1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
Sounds like a great combination, I had a friend custom make an X pipe and its great. I went with Heddmans and Raven 30 mufflers. Cant think of anything else except for tips I went with 2.5" exhaust with 3" stainless tips. 74Maverick, Thom

sounds good indeed. Don't know anything about the mufflers but I am running the caoted hedmans. I went with flowmaster 40 series with a dump in front of the axle 2 1/2 all the wat back. Sure wish I would have gone with a quieter muffler..Scotty

I have 40 series Flowmasters on the Merc1 and I love the sound. I have a crossover pipe between the two pipes and like the added performance. My exhaust system is similar to the one on the new Marauder, except minus the catalytic converters.

At the risk of sounding stupid:confused: whats the new Marauder exhaust system like? Just curious, Thom

    Hey Scotty.

I have 40 series under mine (3") and the difference between when I dumped before the rear axle and when I got around to making some tailpipes is phenomenal.
You might change your mind about the two chambers if you get the exhaust to exit out from under the car.
