    Hey Ray,

You need to be in the inside the park. And have your car parked by 10:00 AM at the absolute latest. The earlier the better they will group the cars by make and model for as long as they can, but the closer it gets to 10AM it fills up and you may be separated from your group of cars. This is what happened to me the first time I came to the show in January of 2005.

morgan is right about getting there early. right now we have 15-16 cars showing up not counting the ones not on this board. we can try to save spots but the later it gets the less likely that will happen. when you pull into the park just ask one of the staff to direct you to the maverick/comet area if you don't see us.

Truthfully, getting there at 8am is about the latest I would want to be there. The line to get in starts earlier than that. NPD is unbelievable at getting 1000 plus cars in the park AND parked before 10am. My hat's off to the crew and the work they put out. The Amelia Cruizers' show is always just over 200-250 cars and we start parking them before daylight and it can be a zoo, we have less area to park, but gee whiz they 5 TIMES the cars! Simply AWESOME!

I was just looking through some pictures I took at last year's show. Got some good interior shots of Mavaholic's Sprint, awesome car! There was a gold Comet there next to the Sprint that won an award at the show. The father brought it down from Ga. because the daughter had perfect attendence in school, I believe. Someone told me that the car was in some kind of an accident later on and maybe totaled.

Anyone know anything about the car and what happened?

    Hey Jim,

Short story is, she pulled out and the car was hit in the drivers rear quarter. Pretty heavy damage was done to the car. Last I heard is it was going to be fixed.

it is still waiting to be fixed last time i talked to tim. brittney was supposed to use that car for college transportation but she had to get a job to buy a new car to get around. she hasn't had the funding to repair it yet. tim is still building his pro tour comet. can't wait to see that one' tubbed,4 link, custom front end sans shock towers, custom brake system, and the best part-- he was given a boss 351 engine that will power this beast. should be one BAD car

Anyone that's coming down for the show have one of those Deluxe Gas Caps that will fit a '76 Mav? Would love to buy it and take it off your hands.

Looking forward to meeting all of you, and seeing Richard again. When we go to his place to buy parts, it's like kids in a candy store! Great guy!

Thanks for the props! But in all fairness, you two are great customers as well! You show when you say you will and that means a lot!
