    The 4180 is a hybrid carb, it was designed by both Holley and Ford originally for the 83 Mustang GT. But Ford also used it on 351W and 460 trucks. Aside from the dual bowl vent tubes, I'm not sure what else is different. I think the idle mixture screws, if present were "locked down" at the factory to prevent tampering with. I've never had the opportunity to take one apart to see what else was redesigned from the 4160's.

    That sounds about right, as mine was on my 84 351W pickup. I figured it was
    probably about a 600 -650 cfm being used by the factory on the 351W. It runs a heck of a lot better than the used 600 cfm that I already had, which needs a kit in it. The chrome air breather hides it anyway, so the extra vent tubes aren't noticeable....
