HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!! :( I've spent the past 2 hours trying to figure out how to get my front bench seat out. I removed the split backs, hoping it would make it easier......no luck. Found tons of rust on the floor boards.

    Thanks

    -Nick

The bolts go thru the floor, you access them underneath the car.

Yep, look under the car. You'll see the studs poking through with a nut on it. There are a total of 4, two on each side. I want to say you'll need a 9/16 deep reach socket, though it's been a while since I've swapped seats around.

    1/2'' deep

the rear drivers side might be hard to notice because that nut also holds a bracket that holds a hard line for either fuel or brakes, i dont remember. after you get the nut off that bracket might catch on the stud threads as you lift.

Now you need to find out why. Is the cowl leaking? Or was the windshield leaking? Hopefully it was the windshield.:)

we had heavy ice storms a few weeks ago, and I noticed rain entering from the top of the winshield. I sealed it up temporarily with RTV. Pulled all of the "chrome" accents off and found all of the weatherstripping cracked and dry-rotted. Stripping the car down over the next couple weeks should be fun....any else hear rumors about AutoKrafters making new ones?
