Soooooo sorry to hear about Dana's accident! My heart is pounding right now just thinking about it. That car is awesome and Dana and her Dad are wonderful folks. Our prayers go out to you!

We thoroughly enjoyed the show, putting faces to the screen names and sharing stories and technical tips. What a fine group of people, and we're proud to be part of it

    Hey Jason,

We all had a good time. Great to see you and your family again. And meeting new people as well. I was incredibly shocked to hear about Dana and her car. That was a great car. And she's an awesome girl. I realy enjoyed talking with her. Very relieved that she is ok. Please express my condolences about the car.

    car crash

hey guys (and gals) it's Dana, thanks for all the nice words! my poor baby is a total mess, we are waiting for insurance to look at it before i can pick it apart to see the true damage. that and dad and i have to be able to look at it without bawling...
the show was a blast as usual though, and Glen won a vendor award for the green grabber he has which is totally awesome!
i will post my parts list as soon as i can make one up for anyone who loves junk-yard hunting like me and does not mind keeping an eye out for things
times like these make me wish i had a hot tub, ouch!!!

    Dana,
We're in tears, our stomachs have been in knots all day... our hearts go out to you and your Dad... we talked to him earlier tonite... whatever we have that may help in the rebuild (if it's possible)... it's yours, no charge. We were so imipressed with your enthusiasm as a younger person, and how you worked with your Dad on this car.... your belt buckle idea is a great idea, need to work out the particulars (I imagine you might have a great amount of interest in this room, never mind Ebay)... thinking it would be a hit big time. Dana, I (and this is Holly talking now) know that experience of being hit in the Mav was beyond any imagination... and it will come back at you each and every day (sorry to tell you that)... you'll learn to deal, as I am. And, as Coutangman said "you can never expect what's around the next bend". We're all in the same boat, and feel your loss like it was ours! We're there for you... anyway we can help.

And, to add, to it we will personally come up there and assist in anyway possible and help in the rebuild...weekend after weekend after weekend. We'll put off the 302 conversion on our our car (which has now become a 347 conversion after seeing the awesome stuff at the show, per Holly)...we'll be there to help you.

Glad to hear from you, Dana. Yeah, a hottub and and good long soak would do you some good for sure! Hope the knee is alright as well as the rest of you. Have your dad, Fred, give me a call. I still have what is left of the 74 Comet that donated a left quarter panel to Holly and Rocky's Maverick, looks like it might be a good donor for a front clip, less the Comet hood that is. It also has disc brakes.
Keep us in the loop. Jared called today to see how you were doing, will let him know you posted on here. (Not that he has a logon or anything since he drives a, uh, hmm, Mustang, but will let him know you are at least able to type smart alec things!)

    All the best!

    Richard, family and friends!

p.s. Feel free to call him and give a good harassment (will send # in pm)

    Thank you

Hey guys, this is Hotties Dad. First off, Draggon, thank you so very much for turning around and coming back Sunday to the crash site and helping us out. I, we needed a lot of help. Holly and Rocky, your call last night really was very highly appreciated, and if I had just thought, and called ya'll. Jason, thank you for posting the inititial notice about the crash. I have been maintaining pretty good (ha!) until I saw the show pic's. It really hit me hard.

Dana and I had a little chat tonight and I referred to her "baby" and told her for now, I am referring to it as the "Pheonix". It too shall rise from the ashes.

Again, from the heart, thank you all for the support, thoughts, kind words, and prayers for her.

    Dad
