I am putting in new buckets seats. I have a 1972 302 Mav. that had a bench seat and seat belt light and buzzer.

When I took the bench out I disconnected a 2 wire harness under the pasenger side of the front bench. I think it had like a pad sensor for the paseenger that would sense weight and buzzer would go off if the seat belt is not pulled and someone is sitting on it.

Anyway, when I put the buckets in, it has no sensor pad in it. So will the buzzer and light go off if I leave the 2 wire harness unplugged?

I have the same thing in my 73. Right now the seat is out so it is unplugged. No buzzer when the ignition is on.
