Still running the hot wire set up and that is still great with the resistor inline to the coil. Using the key switch to unlock the steering wheel and activate the windshield wipers, that works every time, the turn signals do not turn on at all no flash not even when you do it manually the emergency flasher works fine all four lights, the brake circuit works but only half of it, right rear brake light does not come on and the bulb is fine. Forget that last thing about the brake lights since brake lights would work even with the ignition switch off but it does maybe have something to do with the one wire the orange light blue that goes to the right rear brake it is also operating the right rear turn signal since they are one in the same wire. I don't want to just start replacing things until I find it. I am thinking to check the ignition switch first but if anyone can direct me to a better route please help! When the ignition switch goes I thought everything on it went and not just certian things Mike ps hand signals are not the way to go.

Hi Tim sounds great, I read about it last night it would be great to meet you, how long have you had your Comet, I think I have seen it before, I have made a lot of trips to the Carolina's and South by way of 220 and remember seeing one that looked a lot like yours between Ridgeway and Tom Lesters sawmill entrance around the steak and seafood resturant was that you. Naw not me I live in South boston . I have had my comet for 2 yrs now . I bought it off a fella in Sparta NC so you may have seen him on it ? I have a 71 comet i bought for parts if you need a switch let me know . I lived in Elliston Va for a few years back about 1987 -!989 so i know a bout those Mtn winters LOL. I loved it up there though. Got any pics on your puter of your ride ? I sure would like to see it.
