    He's at a carshow in Ocala Fla....he was at the mini meet in savannah and then went on to the show. I think he said he'd be back this weekend:cool:

    how come it looks like he has so much more room in his engine compartment than i do? does dirt really take up that much room.:D

    He has a lot more room than me at least he can tell what collor his engin is i think mine is ford blue but right now it looks like grease black

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    I don't mean to start a 'what year' war or anything, but .... what year did the Mavericks come with that style shock tower brace?

    Looks like it might be from another vehicle (if not the Maverick).

    look in the tech forums mavholic posted a how-to in there on how to cut down an export brace to do that........thinks its titled export brace will bump it up for you

    and btw that is a smallblock.....302 289 255 are all the same block
    i think it just looks smaller because he has an electric fan on it

    It's a Stroked 302 to 347 I believe is what he told me. I was in information overload that day:D
    I got enough ideas to keep me busy for a year.
    Anytime you have the oppurtunity to get together with another Mav owner it makes for a great exchange of ideas.

    Two reasons the engine bay looks bigger... no battery and no windshield washer bottle. Those two things take up a lot of "visual room" Russ

    looks good and clean either way.......almost looks big enough for a 460.....:D
