When you can do this with a six, who needs the extra two?

    Hey Gene:

Nice to put a face to a name, enjoyed lunch today. Hey Texas guys local to Dallas, if anyone else is available for lunch sometime, step up. I need to wear some more of you out....I think I picked Gene's brain far too much today (dumb new "kid" on the block here.....:().

I have one stock I6 with A/C as a summer daily driver and it will probably stay that way for a looong time. I like the way the car rides and handles with the I6. Also have the 73 with the 302 to drive when the weather is nice, so I kind of have the best of both worlds. I do wish that I had the 250 I6 instead of the 200. I had a 250 in a Maverick years ago and it had a lot more pep than the 200 I have now

Cuz you could do that w/the extra 2 for about half the price.:yup:Having said that,I like my 200 3spd '75 Mav because it's different. And the car only has 83k on it so the engine runs fine. And it's just a little driver.I would never "build" a 6cyl car, heavily tweaked American 200/250s still only run about like a mild 302.I like being different, but why spend a bunch to be different AND slow:huh:??
