    I have a '72 Maverick with a l6 200 cu.in.
Hey I am new to repairs on my '72 l6 Maverick but I just barely replaced the transmission that was easy. The trouble I'm having is trying to find a spot to put the return spring because it shot off when I was taking the transmission out. Help appreciated thanks

Hooks to clutch fork in back and to a bracket that is attached to the front of the lower bellhousing. The latter is many times missing due to previous installs and failure to remount it.
