bad news...any help appreciated

    well got to work on the 74 today, and found the worst possablething. engines i can fix. welding not my forte' my frame under the battery box is swiss cheese. dont know how its holding the bumper up..got a buddy who couyld reinforce it, (after adding rust bullet) or should i just look for another sub frame? if i can find my digi tomarow ill take u guys some pics. i know most would walk away at this point but i kinda like these old cars. bsides i havent givin up on my 72 skylark yet either. wouldnt seem right to do it to the mav..sorry so long winded.. jeff :(

    body isnt bad, behind one front tire some rot. other then that in good shape. still havent gotten underside checked out good yet. any other problem areas i should look for?
    thanks for ya'lls help. also forgot to ask, anybody have a rocker arm assembly they would like to part with? one rocker is snapped in half. turned engine over by hand and no catch or hang in it. so think motor is ok. guy i bought it from said he put new pushrods in it and cranked it drove around yard and then the rocker snapped. never seen that b4..any ideas?

    will find that out tomarow supposed to come a flood here tonite.. think i saw some water on drivers side the other day after a good rain.. will check agian.. thanks

    lay under the car and check the floor pans, the rear fenders, bottom of the doors, front of the hood

    and i pray your car doesnt have a soft top lol
