    Anybody have any idea on how much a 1972 comet with a 302 weighs?

    72 Comet GT 302/AOD, 1972 Mustang NHRA Stock Eliminator 351C
    The NHRA website lists a 2 door sedan at 2743 lb and the GT at 2864. These are the weights that they use to determine the weight-to-horsepower factor classification for Stock and SuperStock classes.

    My 73 Comet weighed 3000lbs with power steering. Of course mine had the 50lb heavyer bumpers, at the time. That was on cert. CAT scales
