Hello, its my first posting and a new member as well, was curious to know if anyone out there knew the where abouts of a 1971 Comet GT with a 302 and 3 speed. May be interested in buying to restore. I bought a new one in 1971 at Pugmire Lincoln Mercury, they were modifying them and called them a "Stabber", WISH I could find one of those. Also I think they were using J.C. Whitney Side Pipe kits and was looking for those as well. Thanks for any info and help. Shump
Welcome aboard! Any pics or details about your old Stabber? Here is a link where we talked about them: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=10616&highlight=stabber Magazine article: http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/browseimages.php?do=searchresults&searchid=2346 -Corbin
Welcome to another fine Georgia Gentleman. Just can't have enough fine Georgians on this message board.
We would love to hear about the one that you purchased. Color combo etc. There are only a few people here with stories of owning the Stabber and Bearcat GT's. We would love to see some pics too if you have any! Seth Roberts 1971-1975 Comet GT Registrar MCCI State Rep Coordinator redcometgt@aol.com
