Is there anyway to do an HID conversion to these cars or since everything is sealed beam im screwed and have to settle for a xenon sealed beam

I really dont know anything about the kits I just want the bright blue tinge beam. Not that standard headlights have ever bothered me.

im pretty sure your going to have alot of electrical work ahead of you to allow your car handle the extra resistance of the HIDs

i'd say just save 'em for the modern cars anyway. they dont look right on the classics

I am pretty sure Mustangs & Fords did that to an early Mustang, maybe their web site or mustang forum would cover it, shouldn't be much different than what we would encounter

Do a search on Headlight Relay here on the forum. Combine this with some H4 conversion lamps and you should be able to get the effect your looking for.

They make a conversion kit for doing that in street rods, was pretty expensive with some type of extra power supply you had to install.

Personally I'd like to shoot the people with the blue headlights. They're really irritating and half the bozos that have them don't know how to aim them properly.

I have them on my grabber just get the H4 sealed beam conversion lenses and then order the H4 to hid kit. There is no extra wiring needed they plug and play.Actually the hid's take less amps to run but use more on start up.The only draw back is you loose high beam but it is not needed!!!!
