i was checking out shifters on jegs and came acrss this guy. i like how it has that classic floor shift look but uses that easy to install cable

ive been exploring diffrent shifters and i know they are alot easier to hook up but i just really dont like the look of zgate style shifters with that big black box under them that sits them up off the floor. the classic boot on the floor is my thing lol

if i did go with the any cable style shifter would i still have to flip that shifter arm on the sde f the tranny or is that just necessary when using stock style mechanical linkage shifters?

Double check the clearance between the trans tunnel and the top of the transmission before getting a Unimatic. 3/4s of the detent mechanism sits under the floor where the mechanism sits above the floor in the black box on the Z Gate. The only thiing that comes through the floor on the z gate is the cable and the bolts.
