    Here is what I have:

    72 Grabber
    Column key
Automatic with neutral switch at column base
Duraspark module with white and red wires

    Now some questions:

Where exactly do I splice in the red and white wires?
Does this have to be under the dash and after the neutral safety switch or can it be in the engine bay coming out of the firewall?

I have read some install info where it was stated that the white wire was optional for retarded advance.

Technically, the white is for start and the red for run. I just tie them together and hook to a switched 12v source.

The white wire is to retard the timing when cranking the engine over. I just cut it off. The red wire can go to any switched 12 volt power source. If you take a volt meter and poke the wires on the plug that hangs near where the drivers side shock tower brace bolts to the firewall, you will find that one of those wires has 12 volts with the key switched on. I don't remember which wire it is.

Has anyone used the starter solenoid post?

Also, I have the coil and slide on clip with red and green wires. I will have to cut and splice the green wire since this setup came with all of the flux capacitor wiring. Did Mavericks have the hot wire to the coil with a built in resistor? Early Falcons had a resistor wire from the ignition switch and then a butt connector going out from under the dash to the coil.

I put a yellow grommet DS in my 72.
    It was uber easy!

I had just gone through a engine fire, so I worked mine into a totally redone engine harness.
I used new wires on my stock sensor connector ends and hybrid the DS harness wires into that. Looks stock.
Just have to get the coil connector and everything like you said you have.

Here is a thread where I lined out my install.
I couldn't tell you how to do it today!
I made this post because I had just done the swap at that time... My memory is shot.

You do not want to use the old Coil + wire because it is not a full 12v. You can use the small wire next to the starter cable on the solenoid and connect it to the white wire only. There is only voltage on that line when the key is in the start position.

Hey Mean, do you mind if I link to that schematic for the time being?
I just posted all my info into a Tech thread, and this schematic is generic enough to cover most of the DS systems as it doesn't get into connector shape and such.
If you don't mind, I would like to link to your schematic in my tech thread.
    Thanks!
    Dave
