Diesel Maverick?

    Diesels were put in a few escorts and rangers in the early-mid 80's. I believe they were made by Perkins. They are rare but if you could find one then this would probably be your easiest swap.

    That's what I'd like to do, too. Ford's Triton could be made to fit. Just so happens I helped design the grinders that machine the cranks and cams for them, so I guess I'm prejudiced.

    Ill stick to the 4g63 turbo engine from a TSI Talon,Or the 2JZ engine from a supra.That should make people happy with me.

    Whatever you did, you did it well. My Superduty V-10 has been my daily driver for 5 years now and it's one of the smoothest and most competent engines I've ever had the pleasure of owning.

    First they talk about putting a diesel into a maverick, now some sick bastard wants to put a supra or a mitsu motor into a maverick? You people make me sick!!!!
