When was the last time you had an alignment? Probably need to do it when you get new tires. no sense doing it til then.
Excessive negative camber or excessive toe-out. Have you had the alignment checked as well as all of the suspension components.
my worn lower ball joints were making this happen. they were so loose the cars weight pushed the bottom of the tires out and caused negative camber
Stock Maverick suspension can't go negative enough to wear tires on the inside unless there is some very worn ball joints. Having the tires toed out will do it though and that can happen by hitting a curb too hard. If you have worn parts then you need to get them replaced - it at least as important as breaks.
Most alignment shops will tell you that you need to put tires on it before they can align it. Set up the apointment and then get tires on it the day before.
A reputable shop will also tell you if any of the front end parts are worn and will tell you to get them fixed, and then come back.
