what size tires?

    I would roll them just to be on the safe side. You don't have to roll the entire well, just the center, probably about 24 inches or so and it's not even noticeable. When I tell someone mine is rolled, they have to feel it to know what I'm talking about.

    well i put 255 60s on my car and if i launch it even with the traction bars it will rub . so im gonna roll the 1/4 but hey i love my new 5 speed.... thats a pluss

    How much clearance do you have on the inside between the tire and the leaf spring? What backspace do you have on the wheel?
    The 255 is still a pretty good size tire. If it's just barely rubbing, the roll should take care of it. (y)

    o yeah im sure it will. but im not worried about it to much its getting a 4 link and mini tub in the next few months and a 9 inch . im gonna break that little 8 inch

    With MY car the best BS I've found with an 8" wheel is 3 3/4.
    I've had LOTS of different size tires on the car with very little trouble. I currently have 275/70r15 on the rear for their huge diameter, but generally run a 26" tire at the track.
    I do have longer shackles that I made on the car to fit more tire, but I believe I can get away with less extension. I made them adjustable from stock length to 2" higher, just never have gotten around to playing with the height.

    when you get close to putting the 9" in, let me know when the center section is ready to be sold..
