EDIT: APRIL FOOLS, for @#$% sake. I love Cragars, Bullits and Torq-Thrusts. 5-spokes, slot mags, Ansen, Centerlines, steelies with dog dishes, rallys, stockers. 14-17" and no bigger, ever. I fed my family and paid bills with my tax refund. Jeez...

Well I got my tax refund, and like most other people here in the south, I spent it all on rims and tires! I just couldn't stand those Bullitt/Torque Thrust/Cragar-looking Mustang wheels. They look just like what everybody else is running, they're way overdone, and 17" is just so five years ago. So I got THESE babies! VAST improvement if I do say so myself, much more modern, and now I can stand out from the crowd like the true nonconformist I am.

Definitely not. The current "ugly" '06 Mustang wheels are 17" and the black Foose wheels which came with the car when I bought it are 20". I sold those to get the ones that are on it now. ONE reason I did that was they rubbed real bad...

Wow. SIX replies in like 15 minutes.

I don't hate them. I think they would look great on another car. Black Charger R/T for instance. They'd be perfect for something big, new, and black. But not so ideal for a Maverick...

Same car, and no I wasn't the one trying to sell it, but I bought it from him. Done a lot to it since then, but the guy who had it before either of us did most of the resto work a few years ago. I've rewired it, rebuilt, freshened up, upgraded or replaced practically everything under the hood except the long block which has about 7,000 miles on it now. I finished the interior, polished and touched up the paint, added the side stripes and of course the wheels. It ran terribly when I got it, but I just got back from a 650 mile road trip with no [major] problems, so it's come a long way. I love the car, and intend to keep it for a while.

Was a joke. I love 5-spokes, just not 20's on such a small car.

...And no I didn't spend my tax refund on wheels! But it RHYMES with wheels and starts with B...
