does anyone know if the s-rod 4 speed trannys bellhousing is the same as the t5? it looks the same to me?
hmm that sucks. it looks so close lol. i was gonna sell it on ebay. its prolly not worth to much i guess.
doesn't the s-rod bell housing have the same bolt patern as a toploader trans but has the deeper depth like a t5 bell?
v8 it came off an 83 mustang gt... 302 ci it looks the same as the t-5 bellhousing i have laying around. bolt holes are the same and all. i think it is the same. i also have the tranny that goes with it. id liek to get 150 bucks out of the whole setup.
unless ur running a stock 302 and a 6popper then i wouldnt recommend a SROD. they wont handle much horsepower...
This I Know o yeah this i know i have a t5z in my car with a 347. thats why it is not in my car. but for someone who has a stock one and just want a stick.
The T5 was a running change during the 1983 model year in Mustang GT's. All 1983 Mustang GT's built before December of 1982 were SROD cars. Some cars made in December of '82 and all 83 GT's produced in 1983 had T5's. An SROD bell housing will NOT bolt up to a T5. If your bell housing does bolt up to a T5, then it is a T5 bell housing.
