April 18-19th... Me and the Plum will be their along with the rest of my crew to run the event.
After speaking with the track manager I found out there will be a strong contingency of 8.50-9.50 cars registered, I figured given the choice Pinks would choose a faster field vs. a slower field ,hence the reason for taking the plum.
If anyone from the board is going...hunt me up..I'll be their...somewhere.:yup:

That is not a very good assumption, when in Tucson they had a huge group around 10.5 to 11.2 but they picked a 12.2 to 12.5 class. I think it also depends if they feel people are sandbagging or not. They want it "All Out" and it really is all about the show.

I think they also go by which group has the better personalities as well. So, Rick, put on that Charleston charm and look purtty for the camera.

Made a trip down to the track for test and tune last night and got all my license runs in...6 in all..great track and personal...they went out of there way to make sure I got the runs in I needed...must have been at least 150 cars there for T&T.
Track conditions were just incredible even with all the street cars...these had to be lone passes and they would make sure I had plenty of water in the burnout box and a clean dry launch pad...the car ripped off 6...countem 6... 5.88 at 116 mph on the half passes and 2... 9.28 at 143 mph on my full passes. ( no nitrous passes)
My hats off to Rick Robinette and his crew.
Stayed in G'ville last night and carried my paperwork to the Div.2 office this morning and got my license and comp. number...all in all a great trip.
Me and the car are ready:)

Hey I watched All out last night and they got the 16 they wanted then got another 16 that would be challengers, There was a white Maverick that actaully beat the challenger but then it wasn't in the final 16??? , any one know what happened there.??
the final 4 were a red Fairmont that thing came from behind in several races to win, very fast near the end of the runs, there was a Mustang, and then there was yellow Camaro and Ithink it was a black malibu, anyway predicably they put the Fords together and the chevys then had a Ford V chevy race. It was funny one of the guys on the Camaro crew said, This will be an easy win one.. two and we are done, The Fairmont blew out the Camaro, in the first race, then the Camaro won,
then the Fairmont one in the last race, his Starter bolts were stripped and before the first race he was down to one bolt , ran, then it fell out after his burnout before the 2nd race, he won the last race with his starter hanging by the wires!!
