cam shopping

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    I am building an 86 lincoln 302 for my maverick. It is going to be a simple hotrod with Hooker 6901 headers, edelbrock performer rpm intake, and about a 600 holley. That would be a good choice for a street strip car with 3.80 gears.

    Your best bet is to call the cam company of choice and ask their opinion. I have always has great success in letting the "experts" make the call. I think it also helps that my ego (that wants a .650 lift) does not get on the way!

    that's a nice street car combo...give the cam company that info plus the transmission specs. and they can fix you up...:thumbs2:
