As promissed some better pics of my 72 Comet GT. I buffed the paint, and cleaned the rims. She still needs interior cleaning, so no pics of that yet. I got it running today. hasn't run in 6 years. purred like a kitten. We'll close, found out is has a lumpy cam:bananaman

In the year 2101, somebody will read about this and call it the Deal of the 21st Century. Great find.

I pee'd a little when he said $800 and its yours. ok not realy, but was shocked. It didn't run when I pulled her out(missing carb) Motor has been worked over. Has hand writting on the shock tower of a cam and 4bbl intake swap in October of 94 at 56,000 miles. It now has 61000 original miles. She has some dents(very minor), and some scratches. It is very presentable and other than cleaning the interior and fixing the brakes, she's ready to cruise.

I have a bad habit of those deals. My best buddy gives me grief about it all the time. This 71 torino has about $900 invested in it.

Very nice find. Be sure to confirm all of your VIN info and door data tag info and I can add it to the GT Registry.

Sent the info. Now i need to go on the search. Needs a gas cap and the grill is broken and missing a piece under the hood latch. I was just happy the dash didn't have a crack in it.
