I have been working with Auto Krafters in getting them to repop the Maverick Sport Mirror pads. I am pleased to announce that they are done, in-stock, and ready to be sold!!

Auto Krafters will be selling them for $24.95 A PAIR (PAIRS ONLY) AND THE PART NUMBER IS D0DZ-17724BC

I have looked them over and they are real nice. I told them they would sell well....so don't disappoint me!! :D

These are (make that "were") impossible to find used.

I have two more parts that I will be announcing as soon as I get a price on them from Auto Krafters.

is one of the parts the sport mirrors that go with those mounting pads by any chance??? huh huh ??? Craig is too good at keeping secrets..LOL Think about how long he held out on us before he unvailed his Grabber at the round-up last year... hhahahaha..

But seriously Nice work Craig glad to have influential people like you working on our side.... ... if I ever need a set of those pads I will be sure to let Auto Crafter know that Craig Selvey sent me:clap:

Great job!!!:thumbs2: I have been pondering what I was going to do for mine. I had been contemplating going to the local rubber house and buying a sheet of some neoprene or EPDM rubber and cutting some out. But, now I won't need to. I will be buying them real soon.

I could not find the other post on the subject....so I will post it here. There was a discussion about the sport mirror gaskets from Auto Krafters NOT being correct (they are too small). I talked to Auto Krafters today on the phone and they emailed me back: The mfgr switched materials and they shrunk. We are working with the mfgr on these right now. We are not selling any of these for the time being until we get this problem resolved.

I will see them at Carlisle next week and talk to them personally about this and other products.

Forgive for not know, but will these just basically make it easier for bolting int he bolts for the mirrors? You know, like not needing a template when installing them?

    Ralf,

They are a cushion between the mirror and the door. You need them to keep the paint intact, and they probably help keep the mirror tightly fastened down over the long haul.

    Craig,
Thanks for your efforts here. I think I now have 5 mirrors here with two good gaskets ...
